The crowd rose to their feet as Villanova Di Denore's Edoardo Madaio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ferruccio Colangelo. That made the score 4-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 32nd match minute, Lazio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Angelini to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Davide Melfi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lazio's Ferruccio Colangelo didn't even have to move. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arrigo Gambini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferruccio Colangelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kacper Nowacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Colangelo having to interfere. Villanova Di Denore's Daniele Pio was substituted for Edoardo Madaio. Lazio were furious when Emilio Angelini was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute, one of Lazio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lazio. Daniele Pio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Villanova Di Denore's Jonathan de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Villanova Di Denore from getting a goal against them. Ferruccio Colangelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Pio's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Ettore Natale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Ermanno Di Cintio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Lazio got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Di Cintio. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Villanova Di Denore had played much better football throughout.
