Edmondo Di Paola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donato Pilla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After 10 played minutes Burzum United got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Reali. 11 minutes into the match, R. C. F. C.'s Edoardo Sciascia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Anselmo Guidoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Miccio got free with Edmondo Di Paola in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosimo Scotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Porreca in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Burzum United's zone, Adriano Miccio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmondo Di Paola came out of the goal and Adriano Miccio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Adriano Miccio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edmondo Di Paola. That made the score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Passerini in the 36th minute of play forced Burzum United's goalkeeper Edmondo Di Paola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Gualtieri to make the kick off. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Bertini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Di Paola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes, Amerigo Contaldi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burzum United and the R. C. F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Amerigo Contaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 minutes of play, R. C. F. C.'s Cesare Bertini made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Di Paola was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Burzum United's Bernardo Porreca got a free kick in the 95th minute. R. C. F. C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
