After 21 minutes of play, Voghiera AFC's Comunardo Carlini made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bianco Pensa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Voghiera AFC's Comunardo Carlini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bianco Pensa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Comunardo Carlini came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Voghiera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo Carlini couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Achille Cavallaro made the kick off in the second half. Comunardo Carlini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Pensa having to interfere. If Diego Cameli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Cavallaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Alleva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Diego Tabacco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Alleva got free with Diego Tabacco in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Voghiera AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ermanno Cicchetti hit a great ball. Comunardo Carlini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bianco Pensa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Cavallaro in the 95th minute of play forced Voghiera AFC's goalkeeper Diego Tabacco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Damiano Casciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achille Cavallaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Tabacco having to interfere. Bure AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
