Ercole Di Giandomenico hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Camillo Barillari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Di Tullio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes FC.STEAUA BUCURESTI got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Riva. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Federico Giancola managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC.STEAUA BUCURESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Giancola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessio Ronconi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonello Di Tullio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Antonello Di Tullio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Barillari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Giancola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Antonello Di Tullio made a precise shot to the right of Camillo Barillari. FC.STEAUA BUCURESTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Federico Giancola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alessio Ronconi made a huge save. Federico Giancolas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Alessio Ronconi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Antonello Di Tullio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
