Cosimo De Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberigo Pomponio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Edmondo Giardini made a huge save. Alvise Madonna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo De Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ercole Borrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ercole Borrelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmondo Giardini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Ercole Borrelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmondo Giardini. Bulgarno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercole Borrelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Edmondo Giardini made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ercole Borrelli sent off a good shot on target. Alvise Madonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Mazzetti in the 37th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Bulgarno FC's Carlo Mazzetti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvise Madonna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosimo De Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvise Madonna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Belfiore during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Bulgarno FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Cherubini. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Carlo Mazzetti made the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Ercole Borrelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bulgarno FC's Edmondo Giardini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vittoria's zone, Cosimo De Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Madonna came out of the goal and Cosimo De Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vittoria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Carlo Mazzetti scored to the left of an out of position Alvise Madonna, making the score, 1-2. Vittoria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Carlo Mazzetti scored to the left of an out of position Alvise Madonna, making the score, 1-5. When Vittoria's Armin Sasso in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bulgarno FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Vittoria fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bulgarno FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
