The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelio Evani struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Felice Fabiani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marask. Fogarole FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Alfonso Giancristofaro scored to the left of an out of position Felice Fabiani, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Fogarole FC's zone, Ciccio Rallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Fabiani came out of the goal and Ciccio Rallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Alfonso Giancristofaro lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Felice Fabiani. Fogarole FC's Felice Fabiani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Fogarole FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Alfonso Giancristofaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marask's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Giancristofaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felice Fabiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 19 minutes, Alfonso Giancristofaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marask's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Giancristofaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Felice Fabiani managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Marask's Alfonso Giancristofaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ciccio Rallo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felice Fabiani having to make a save. When Alfonso Giancristofaro came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Marask fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Giancristofaro couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Giancristofaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Felice Fabiani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Ciccio Rallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Fogarole FC booed when Marask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Giancristofaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvise De Rubeis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Rosa in the 35th minute of play. Alfonso Giancristofaro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 38th minute. Marask's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Alfonso Giancristofaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Fogarole FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marask:s goal. Alexander Pasinati walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ciccio Rallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marask's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Rallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felice Fabiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Angelo Varglien made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Giancristofaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fogarole FC's Anthony Campana got a free kick in the 68th minute. Alexander Pasinati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felice Fabiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Evani in the 73rd minute of play. Ercole Simone was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th minute, Angelo Varglien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Fogarole FC defense, Alfonso Giancristofaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felice Fabiani. The Fogarole FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felice Fabiani should have stopped the shot. If Alfonso Giancristofaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Giancristofaro in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felice Fabiani saved Fogarole FC from getting behind. Marask's Alfonso Giancristofaro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciccio Rallo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felice Fabiani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciccio Rallo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciccio Rallo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felice Fabiani having to make a save. After having played for 90 minutes, Alfonso Giancristofaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marask's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Giancristofaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Marask fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Marask's Ciccio Rallo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felice Fabiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Giancristofaro in the 95th minute of play.
