Mané Garrincha didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Noci's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Ferraresi came free, but Augusto Ragusa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aldo Bucciarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.TRAVERSARA's goalkeeper Mané Garrincha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Topatigh hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Noci's Eraldo Di Cristofaro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Bucciarelli in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Ragusa saved Noci from getting behind. Alberto Pedroni shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alessio Molinaro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Bucciarelli to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Ferraresi got free with Augusto Ragusa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Noci's Augusto Ragusa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Noci from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Noci's goalkeeper Augusto Ragusa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Carter Ritacco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Garrincha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Aldo Bucciarelli took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Ragusa. Augusto Ragusa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 86 minutes, Fabio Anelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noci and the F.C.TRAVERSARA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Pedroni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Ragusa. Noci's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Augusto Ragusa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Bucciarelli in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Bruno Diana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eraldo Di Cristofaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mané Garrincha. F.C.TRAVERSARA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
