After a defensive mix-up in AZ Pvnch's zone, Fabio Piccoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Iannotti came out of the goal and Fabio Piccoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Gaspari scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Cesareo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Iannotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Bozzelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Tribola FC booed when AZ Pvnch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Angelici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tribola FC's Cesare Casciano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AZ Pvnch. When Dennis Di Massimo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZ Pvnch's protests and gave Dennis Di Massimo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, one of AZ Pvnch:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AZ Pvnch. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Tribola FC's Cesare Casciano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexander Iannotti. Fabio Piccoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alexander Iannotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Attilio Aquilino to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Frank Gaspari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZ Pvnch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Gaspari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tribola FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Attilio Aquilino scored to the left of an out of position Frank Cesareo, making the score, 3-2. In the 63rdth minute of the game Fabio Piccoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AZ Pvnch's Alexander Iannotti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Beppe Mercuri came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Tribola FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Mercuri couldn't finish the play. Fabio Piccoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Di Vito in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Iannotti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Iannotti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Di Vito's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Tribola FC's Frank Cesareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Aquilino in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AZ Pvnch's zone, Beppe Mercuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Iannotti came out of the goal and Beppe Mercuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tribola FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
