One of The Outsiders:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montecchio FC:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fausto Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fausto Pierucci made a huge save. Anselmo Colaussi was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th minute, Montecchio FC's Emiliano Furia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fausto Pierucci. Fausto Pierucci yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After having played for 64 minutes, Ernesto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Outsiders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davide Helfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Donato in the 66th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Angelo Alati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Montecchio FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
