Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eraldo Cerrone got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Eraldo Cerrone fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ermanno Mara, passed just outside the right post. Felice Bergomi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ermanno Mara made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Cerrone in the 15th minute of play forced Disperati's goalkeeper Ermanno Mara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Eraldo Cerrone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Disperati's Ermanno Mara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Felice Bergomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 23 played minutes Eraldo Cerrone rounded Disperati's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Felice Bergomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Mara having to interfere. If Felice Bergomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Disperati getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Eugenio Gava hit a great ball. Ermanno Mara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Cerrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrizio Parco to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Villagrappa's zone, Fabrizio Parco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Verdone came out of the goal and Fabrizio Parco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulvio Rivera hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ermanno Mara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Bergomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ermanno Mara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eraldo Cerrone's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Felice Bergomi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermanno Mara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Cerrone in the 63rd minute of the match. Eraldo Cerrone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Mara having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Carmine Angelini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Disperati's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Angelini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Verdone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulvio Rivera during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes, Villagrappa's Bernardo Damiani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermanno Mara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villagrappa reached it. Carmine Angelini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Mara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Cerrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match Alfredo Sergi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermanno Mara skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Villagrappa's Felice Bergomi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermanno Mara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermanno Mara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Bergomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Villagrappa had played much better football throughout.
