Cosimo Bracco made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Amerigo Tullio sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Domenico Maio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amedeo Fantini. Valgatara AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenico Maio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eraldo Fontana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosimo Bracco. fc alieni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, fc alieni's Cesare Tomei got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Maio in the 16th minute of play forced Valgatara AFC's goalkeeper Amedeo Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of fc alieni booed when Valgatara AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Serantoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Carlo Perazzolo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valgatara AFC and the fc alieni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Amerigo Tullio made the kick off in the second half. If Amerigo Tullio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Amerigo Tullio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosimo Bracco was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in fc alieni's zone, Emilio Di Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosimo Bracco came out of the goal and Emilio Di Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 minutes of play, Valgatara AFC's Amerigo Tullio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosimo Bracco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosimo Bracco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Di Nardo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Flavio Eboli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc alieni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valgatara AFC the free kick. Amerigo Tullio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Tullio in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosimo Bracco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amerigo Tullio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cosimo Bracco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the fc alieni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Valgatara AFC.
