With a left leg Adriano Pellecchia saved MARCHELE from getting behind. Edmondo De Luca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes, Carlo Taglieri made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. MARCHELE's Adriano Pellecchia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Taranto hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Taglieri in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Pellecchia saved MARCHELE from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in MARCHELE's zone, Carlo Taglieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Pellecchia came out of the goal and Carlo Taglieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Montione di Cascina UTD's Carlo Taglieri in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARCHELE's goalie prevented a goal. Edmondo De Luca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adriano Pellecchia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Franco Panno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Pellecchia having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Amerigo Vitale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARCHELE and the Montione di Cascina UTD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MARCHELE getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Amerigo Vitale hit a great ball. When Montione di Cascina UTD's Carlo Taglieri in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Pellecchia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montione di Cascina UTD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Augusto Taranto walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Taglieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MARCHELE's Adriano Pellecchia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save MARCHELE from getting a goal against them. MARCHELE's Amerigo Vitale got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Amerigo Vitale off the ground. After a rather tough play, MARCHELE's Amerigo Vitale got a free kick in the 65th minute. Montione di Cascina UTD's Carlo Taglieri got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmondo De Luca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Pellecchia having to interfere. If Franco Panno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Taglieri in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Pellecchia saved MARCHELE from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Panno in the 73rd minute of play forced Montione di Cascina UTD's goalkeeper Mariusz Lewicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Pellecchia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmondo De Luca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play.
