The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enrico Peca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Barberio having to interfere. Aldo Barberio made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Attilio Catena sent off a good shot on target. Fortunato Della Rocca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Albignasego FC's zone, Fortunato Della Rocca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Barberio came out of the goal and Fortunato Della Rocca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Fortunato Della Rocca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Albignasego FC's Aldo Barberio got control of the ball when Fortunato Della Rocca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Barberio made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fortunato Della Rocca sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Peca in the 31st minute of play forced Albignasego FC's goalkeeper Aldo Barberio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Della Rocca got free with Aldo Barberio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 played minutes Albignasego FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Benarrivo. Fortunato Della Rocca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Barberio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Peca, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Albignasego FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Enrico Peca scored to the left of an out of position Aldo Barberio, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Enrico Peca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Negrar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Peca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Peca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Enrico Peca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Aldo Barberio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dino Borromeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Barberio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Peca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attilio Catena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Aldo Barberio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Enrico Peca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Negrar FC got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Catena. Aldo Barberio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Della Rocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Negrar FC's Attilio Catena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Barberio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Fortunato Della Rocca struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Aldo Barberio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Negrar FC. In the 87th minute, Enrico Peca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortunato Della Rocca struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Aldo Barberio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Negrar FC. The audience was convinced that Fortunato Della Rocca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Barberio was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Negrar FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
