After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Elia Finocchio managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETIKO TRODIKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Finocchio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Caretti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Ernesto Lizzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes ATLETIKO TRODIKA got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Borromeo. Enrico Peca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alfredo Castellini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Castellini came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Negrar FC's Fortunato Della Rocca. But to his dismay, Fortunato Della Rocca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the game, Arrigo Muciaccia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Negrar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLETIKO TRODIKA the free kick. Fabiano Ansoldi charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Ansoldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Negrar FC booed when ATLETIKO TRODIKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Ansoldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Peca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Castellini having to interfere. When Ernesto Lizzi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ATLETIKO TRODIKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Lizzi couldn't finish the play. Elia Finocchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Attilio Caretti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Negrar FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elia Finocchio 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Fortunato Della Rocca might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Castellini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Della Rocca ran back to his position shaking his head. Attilio Caretti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Finocchio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Negrar FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elia Finocchio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Enrico Peca made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Castellini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Peca, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Fortunato Della Rocca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alfredo Castellini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Peca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. During the 70th minute of the match Arrigo Muciaccia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arrigo Muciaccia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Negrar FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The referee gave ATLETIKO TRODIKA a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donato Lorenzi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Negrar FC's Attilio Caretti. 3-2. Thanks to some nice moves Fortunato Della Rocca could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Alfredo Castellini however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, ATLETIKO TRODIKA's Edmondo Borromeo got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Della Rocca got free with Alfredo Castellini in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes, Edmondo Borromeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATLETIKO TRODIKA and the Negrar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. ATLETIKO TRODIKA's Alfredo Castellini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save ATLETIKO TRODIKA from getting a goal against them. When Ernesto Lizzi came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the ATLETIKO TRODIKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Lizzi couldn't finish the play. Negrar FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
