Aurelio Maccarone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Albignasego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Peca came free, but Aldo Barberio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Negrar FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Attilio Catena hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Peca in the 22nd minute of play forced Albignasego FC's goalkeeper Aldo Barberio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Albignasego FC's zone, Enrico Peca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Barberio came out of the goal and Enrico Peca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Negrar FC's Fortunato Della Rocca got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Maccarone kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Aldo Barberio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Della Rocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Enrico Peca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Barberio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Peca in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Enrico Peca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Barberio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Concetto Ciaccia during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Negrar FC booed when Albignasego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Ciaccia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Negrar FC's Fortunato Della Rocca got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Peca to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Fortunato Della Rocca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Negrar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Della Rocca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Fortunato Della Rocca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 62 minutes into the match, Fortunato Della Rocca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Barberio. Albignasego FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fortunato Della Rocca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 66th minute, Aurelio Maccarone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Albignasego FC's zone, Enrico Peca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Barberio came out of the goal and Enrico Peca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrico Peca in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Barberio saved Albignasego FC from getting behind. Enrico Peca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aldo Barberio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Peca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Barberio having to interfere. Aldo Barberio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Peca in the 82nd minute of the match. Alvise Benarrivo charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvise Benarrivo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvise Benarrivo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fortunato Della Rocca struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Aldo Barberio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Negrar FC. In the 91st minute, Fortunato Della Rocca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Negrar FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Negrar FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
