Edoardo Papa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Di Iorio in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Benarrivo got free with Enzo Del Monte in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 minutes, Angelo Benarrivo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tessello's Enzo Del Monte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Tessello's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florian Montanari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 44 minutes into the match, Giggione Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Mariano came free, but Edoardo Papa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Mariano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Florian Montanari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Del Monte was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With an all-out effort, Tessello's Edoardo Papa threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Davide Zara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emiliano Di Iorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edoardo Papa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Fortunato Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tessello and the Giggione Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card.
