The referee ignored Giggione Fc's protests and gave Donato Capasso a yellow card for diving instead. Donato Capasso hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Borella FC's Amos De Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Papa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 13 played minutes Giggione Fc got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Tartaglia. Daniele Franco made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Angelo Benarrivo sent off a good shot on target. Armin Guerrieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borella FC's Daniele Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Borella FC from getting a goal against them. Florian Montanari was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Giggione Fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Angelo Benarrivo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Elia Porreca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edoardo Papa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos De Rossi in the 44th minute of play. Florian Montanari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Franco having to interfere. The Giggione Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borella FC were winning 0-1.

Elia Porreca kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes, Borella FC's Alberigo De Lorenzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edoardo Papa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borella FC reached it. After 56 played minutes Borella FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo De Lorenzi. 57 minutes into the match, Giggione Fc's Ciccio Tartaglia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Edoardo Papa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos De Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francesco Gori during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Giggione Fc got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Benarrivo. With a little luck, Giggione Fc's Edoardo Papa got control of the ball when Armin Guerrieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniele Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Montanari in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Giggione Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amos De Rossi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Florian Montanari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Daniele Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Guerrieri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edoardo Papa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Amos De Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edoardo Papa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amos De Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. Edoardo Papa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos De Rossi in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Borella FC's Amos De Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Papa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 93 minutes into the match, Armin Guerrieri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edoardo Papa. Giggione Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armin Guerrieri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Borella FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
