The supporters of Phoenix booed when Sora All Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Burtini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Pasquarelli during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Walcher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Piccirilli was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Phoenix's Federico Amadei got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score was now 1-0. 46 minutes into the match, Sora All Stars's goalkeeper Germano Nazzarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Tiburtini. Germano Nazzarro made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ciro Tiburtini sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Walcher made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix's goalkeeper Augusto Piccirilli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Ciro Tiburtini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Nazzarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Sora All Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Grep came free, but Germano Nazzarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sora All Stars defense, Ciro Tiburtini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Nazzarro. The Sora All Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Nazzarro should have stopped the shot. Germano Nazzarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Tiburtini in the 66th minute of play. Augusto Piccirilli made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dennis Mannella sent off a good shot on target. Ludvig Grep recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Phoenix getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. With a little luck, Phoenix's Augusto Piccirilli got control of the ball when Rodrigo Walcher tried to sneak it across the goal line. One of Sora All Stars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Phoenix:s goal. Carlo Pasquarelli walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Germano Nazzarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Tiburtini in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Phoenix fully deserved thier win.
