The tension between the FC Peroni and the A.S Slipknot players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anthony Maggi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Costacurta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, A.S Slipknot's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Maggi came free, but Cristiano Costacurta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Polito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Francesco Varglien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S Slipknot's goalkeeper Cristiano Costacurta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Costacurta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Maccioni in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of A.S Slipknot booed when FC Peroni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Del Gatto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Polito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Peroni's Fabrizio Maccioni got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Anthony Maggi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Peroni's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Maggi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Costacurta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Costacurta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrizio Maccioni went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. FC Peroni's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
