After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Daniele Muciaccia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longobarda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniele Muciaccia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Piccone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the game, Longobarda FC's Alberto Giorgio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Piccone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Alberto Giorgio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Piccone. Aosta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Giorgio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 20th match minute, Aosta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Barone to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Giorgio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Piccone saved Aosta FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Daniele Muciaccia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Longobarda FC's Dave Ricciuti got control of the ball when Carlo Borromeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute Francesco De Zorzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Ricciuti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Petrosino kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Dave Ricciuti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Miconi in the 33rd minute of the match. Anfilogino Castellazzi made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emanuele Petrosino immediately put the ball in play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Miconi was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of Longobarda FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Longobarda FC's Emanuele Petrosino got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dave Ricciuti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Miconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Dave Ricciuti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco De Zorzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aosta FC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Longobarda FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristoforo Di Donato took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Carlo Borromeo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-2. 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco De Zorzi in the 71st minute of play forced Longobarda FC's goalkeeper Dave Ricciuti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Longobarda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Fallito to maneuver through the defense. Dave Ricciuti came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Aosta FC's Flavio Miconi. But to his dismay, Flavio Miconi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Ettore Moscatelli struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dave Ricciuti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aosta FC. 87 minutes into the game, Daniele Muciaccia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Adriano Piccone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Alberto Giorgio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Longobarda FC's Dave Ricciuti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Miconi in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that Aosta FC were the better team. Aosta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
