Marsignano
Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 2) Cesare Colucci started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marsignano's Fabiano Lorenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Nelli in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marsignano's Felice Granata got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Corsi in the 9th minute of play forced Marsignano's goalkeeper Fabiano Lorenzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Team Cavia della Crew's Edoardo Nelli got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Team Cavia della Crew getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fortunato Lucchetti hit a great ball. Biagio Pierdomenico was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amerigo Migliorati. After having played for 21 minutes, Davide Peca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marsignano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Peca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Team Cavia della Crew's zone, Davide Peca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Pierdomenico came out of the goal and Davide Peca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davide Peca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Biagio Pierdomenico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dave Colombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Dennis Corsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Lorenzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Corsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Team Cavia della Crew booed when Marsignano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Granata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC Team Cavia della Crew's Fortunato Lucchetti tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Corsi was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Marsignano's zone, Edoardo Nelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Lorenzi came out of the goal and Edoardo Nelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes of play, Marsignano's Cesare Colucci made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Pierdomenico was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Edoardo Nelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Lorenzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dennis Corsi scored 1-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabiano Lorenzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marsignano's Fabiano Lorenzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Marsignano from getting a goal against them. If Davide Peca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Pierdomenico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Colucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Dennis Corsi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edoardo Nelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Corsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fabiano Lorenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edoardo Nelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Colucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Biagio Pierdomenico having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Team Cavia della Crew walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
