Ermanno Gaudino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Trabucco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis De Fina having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Ettore De Bonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ciccio Silvestre fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bianca's protests and gave Ciccio Silvestre a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Bianca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avegno:s goal. The supporters of Avegno booed when Bianca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Ciarrocchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bianca's Ettore De Bonis got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Ettore De Bonis off the ground. A collision led to Bianca getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ettore De Bonis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Amedeo Trabucco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bianca's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Trabucco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis De Fina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes of play, Avegno's Eugenio Bozzelli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Zoccali was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Franco Colucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Bozzelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Zoccali having to interfere. Eugenio Bozzelli scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Zoccali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Bozzelli to make the kick off. Augusto Zoccali made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Eugenio Bozzelli sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro Motta struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Augusto Zoccali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avegno. Damiano Ciarrocchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Bozzelli in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Zoccali, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Augusto Zoccali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Eugenio Bozzelli made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Bianca's Augusto Zoccali tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Avegno's Felice Di Bartolo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alessandro Motta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Zoccali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Dennis De Fina came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Bianca's Ermanno Gaudino. But to his dismay, Ermanno Gaudino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. If Eugenio Bozzelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bianca's Augusto Zoccali got control of the ball when Eugenio Bozzelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Zoccali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Bozzelli in the 97th minute.
