An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Di Claudio in the 20th minute of play forced Castelverde's goalkeeper Aurelio Scatena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Carozza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casal Palocco's Emilio Biagetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Filippini in the 25th minute of play. Emanuele Di Claudio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Scatena having to interfere. In the 29th minute Federico Carozza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Biagetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Casal Palocco getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alvise De Sisti hit a great ball. Donato Rullo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvise De Sisti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Scatena. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Castelverde's zone, Alvise De Sisti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Scatena came out of the goal and Alvise De Sisti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the game, Emanuele Di Claudio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Aurelio Scatena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the game, Ciccio Cara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castelverde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casal Palocco the free kick. In the 60th minute, Ciccio Cara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Trentini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aurelio Scatena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Casal Palocco got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Trentini. Emilio Biagetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Carozza in the 72nd minute of play. Federico Carozza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Biagetti having to interfere. Castelverde's Federico Carozza got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Filippini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emilio Biagetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Federico Carozza came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Castelverde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Carozza couldn't finish the play. Emilio Biagetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Filippini in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute, Casal Palocco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dennis Filippini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Casal Palocco's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
