Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anthony Taraborrelli got the match started through his kick off. Armando Panino charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Panino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alessandro Santoro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 5th minute of the game, Augusto Rocchi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 5 minutes, Davide Zarrella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cermes FC and the SSC Bari players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Davide Zarrella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuele Finocchio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Maranzano having to interfere. Eraldo Candeloro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Armando Maranzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Emanuele Finocchio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Bari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Felice Bosco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Albanesi in the 27th minute of play. Carter Di Muzio scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Maranzano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cermes FC's Armando Maranzano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cermes FC from getting a goal against them. Armando Maranzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Finocchio in the 40th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Cermes FC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Cipollone. In the 48th minute, Emanuele Finocchio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armando Maranzano, passed just outside the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Alex Garibaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Albanesi during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Cermes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Albanesi to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cermes FC's goalkeeper Armando Maranzano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Cermes FC's Anthony Taraborrelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felice Bosco. That made the score 2-1 after 67 minutes of play. In the 70th minute, Davide Zarrella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Finocchio in the 72nd minute of play forced Cermes FC's goalkeeper Armando Maranzano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cermes FC's zone, Emanuele Finocchio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Maranzano came out of the goal and Emanuele Finocchio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emanuele Finocchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Finocchio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuele Finocchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. The SSC Bari fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when SSC Bari's Emanuele Finocchio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Emanuele Finocchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Bertoni's late challenge caught a SSC Bari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corrado Bertoni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Corrado Bertoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Andrea Mascitti made a precise shot to the right of Armando Maranzano. Cermes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
