Spectators: 7157 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1501, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armin Croce kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as RUNA FC's Armin Croce slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arrigo Arioli. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, U.S PALMESE's Dino Petrosino got a free kick in the 11th minute. Johnathon Lyon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Weverton Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Alessandro Cesarini made a precise shot to the right of Weverton Silva. RUNA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathon Lyon in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Weverton Silva saved RUNA FC from getting behind. U.S PALMESE's Arrigo Arioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Sundberg in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Edvard Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, U.S PALMESE's goalkeeper Arrigo Arioli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armin Croce. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Edvard Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. RUNA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arrigo Arioli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alessandro Cesarini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Cesarini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armin Croce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johnathon Lyon made a kick off. The supporters of U.S PALMESE booed when RUNA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Caracciolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes in the game Comunardo Nobili did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alfredo Riccardi. After 58 played minutes RUNA FC got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Caracciolo. Johnathon Lyon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Weverton Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute U.S PALMESE were awarded a corner. Anfilogino Carlini went to the cornerflag to take it. Anfilogino Carlini made a great header on U.S PALMESE's corner, it was just that RUNA FC's Weverton Silva managed to reach the ball for a save. Aurelio Montini kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Johnathon Lyon had several of the RUNA FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Weverton Silva as he didn't even see the shot coming. 82 minutes into the match, U.S PALMESE's Johnathon Lyon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Weverton Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When U.S PALMESE's Johnathon Lyon in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RUNA FC's goalie prevented a goal. U.S PALMESE's Damiano Sciamanna was substituted for Dino Petrosino. In the 92nd match minute, RUNA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo De Marco to maneuver through the defense. U.S PALMESE's Johnathon Lyon got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Weverton Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Van Beringhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. U.S PALMESE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
