Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sakis Stoubos kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, Onzato AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Demaria to maneuver through the defense. Alvise Goffredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Stoubos in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Alberigo Burgnich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Cimino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play Onzato AFC's Ciro Demaria was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Onzato AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ciro Demaria hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Fabio Di Giacomo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amerigo Cimino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 24th minute, Federico Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sakis Stoubos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alvise Goffredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Onzato AFC's Alvise Goffredo got control of the ball when Lalo Alabern tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amerigo Cimino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Di Giacomo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard, long distance shot from Dino Piattelli flew over the goal. Lalo Alabern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alvise Goffredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Sakis Stoubos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvise Goffredo. Onzato AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sakis Stoubos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some careless play in the Onzato AFC defense, Sakis Stoubos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvise Goffredo. The Onzato AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvise Goffredo should have stopped the shot. Amerigo Cimino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Di Giacomo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When Fabio Di Giacomo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Onzato AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Di Giacomo couldn't finish the play. Fabio Di Giacomo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes of play, GM Team's Lalo Alabern made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvise Goffredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind GM Team's goalkeeper Amerigo Cimino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sakis Stoubos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvise Goffredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When Alberigo Burgnich was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. In the 91st minute Lalo Alabern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Goffredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
