In the 41st minute, Fabiano Capone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Christian Barducci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Capone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Sylwester Kasperowicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlo Piscopo was the one to do the kick off. Alessio Bonanni charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessio Bonanni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Betlemme getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alessio Bonanni hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes gennarella got a freekick which was hit by Carter Rossetti. After 66 played minutes Betlemme got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Lorefice. Aldo Serra kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Betlemme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Bonanni to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Albuquerque in the 73rd minute of play forced Betlemme's goalkeeper Sylwester Kasperowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Capone in the 78th minute of the match. gennarella's Florian Palmucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save gennarella from getting a goal against them. gennarella's Florian Palmucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Piscopo in the 89th minute of play. Aldo Serra's late challenge caught a gennarella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Serra helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the gennarella players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
