Marocchi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Burgnich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ennio Del Gatto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Facchini in the 18th minute of the match. d.b. impianti's Emanuele Mazzocchi got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Domenico Burgnich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Emanuele Mazzocchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Marocchi AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dave Traini hit a great ball. During the 35th minute of the match Ferruccio Sangermano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ferruccio Sangermano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuele Mazzocchi in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Piccini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 minutes, Florian Di Pietrantonio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marocchi AFC and the d.b. impianti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Marocchi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Florian Di Pietrantonio. A collision led to Marocchi AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Emiliano Facchini hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Emanuele Mazzocchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Piccini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Emiliano Facchini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Attilio Presutti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marocchi AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for d.b. impianti.
