Spectators: 7149 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antonello Di Iorio kicked off to start the match. Franco Valeriani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio De Tommasi having to interfere. Flavio Traini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Bagnara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Sacchetti came free, but Arturo Di Virgilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Di Virgilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Sacchetti in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Bagnara AFC booed when Avesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Papetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Fulvio Arcari in the 15th minute really tested Alessio De Tommasi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 18th minute Antonello Di Iorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio De Tommasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Avesa's zone, Franco Valeriani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessio De Tommasi came out of the goal and Franco Valeriani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alessio De Tommasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Di Iorio in the 22nd minute of play. Frank Castelli kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Traini in the 35th minute of play forced Bagnara AFC's goalkeeper Arturo Di Virgilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Traini struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Arturo Di Virgilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avesa. Flavio Traini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Di Virgilio having to interfere. Dino Colelli hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Avesa's Carter Trinca couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bagnara AFC. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Sacchetti to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Flavio Traini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avesa's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Traini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Di Virgilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Pellicciotta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagnara AFC the free kick. Anfilogino Pellicciotta hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Franco Valeriani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Colelli kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Arturo Di Virgilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Traini in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Avesa's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Valeriani came free, but Alessio De Tommasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bagnara AFC's goalkeeper Arturo Di Virgilio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avesa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Traini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonello Piacentini kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
