The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Angelo Passalacqua put in a rough tackle. 3 minutes into the game, one of Z-Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Donato Palmucci walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 10th minute, Alberto Di Iorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Z-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Dorigatti came free, but Fedele Senatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Domenico Verna fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bari's protests and gave Domenico Verna a yellow card for diving instead. Donato Palmucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fedele Senatore made a huge save. Fedele Senatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Verna in the 18th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Z-Team's corner Albertinho Félix fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amerigo Moscatelli quite easily take care of the ball. Z-Team's Fedele Senatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Z-Team from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the game, Domenico Verna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fedele Senatore. Domenico Verna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Z-Team getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Albertinho Félix hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Alessio Rapone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes, Petros Tavanidis made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Bari's Amerigo Moscatelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Di Iorio took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amerigo Moscatelli. Amerigo Moscatelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Amerigo Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Di Iorio in the 40th minute of the match. Petros Tavanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Moscatelli having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Petros Tavanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Z-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petros Tavanidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amerigo Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Tavanidis in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Fedele Senatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Palmucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. FC Bari's Amerigo Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bari from getting a goal against them. Z-Team's Fedele Senatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Scarcella in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, FC Bari's Frank Dorigatti made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fedele Senatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 played minutes FC Bari got a freekick which was hit by Frank Dorigatti. Alberto Di Iorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Amerigo Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petros Tavanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Donato Palmucci notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Z-Team's Fedele Senatore. Fedele Senatore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Cosimo Scarcella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fedele Senatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Fedele Senatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Palmucci in the 90th minute of the match. Fedele Senatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Scarcella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenico Verna scored 5-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fedele Senatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Bari had played much better football throughout.
