After a defensive mix-up in AC Santa Teresa di Caxias's zone, Alfredo Vittorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Sebastiani came out of the goal and Alfredo Vittorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Cristofari in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emilio Scarinci, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute, Ermanno Carrea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Sebastiani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ermanno Carrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wadiya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Carrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Sebastiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 minutes, Davide Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Santa Teresa di Caxias and the Wadiya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
