Domenico Fiordelisi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Fantini having to make a save. 34 minutes into the game, Filettole FC's Christian Ceccarelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Palmucci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Domenico Fiordelisi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pievequinta's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Fiordelisi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pievequinta booed when Filettole FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Gambini didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Filettole FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Felice Di Michele hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amerigo Fino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Pievequinta's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Fino came free, but Claudio Palmucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christian Ceccarelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Domenico Fiordelisi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pievequinta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Fiordelisi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Angelo Matteucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Gambini hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Diego Santovito sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Filettole FC's Alvaro Fantini didn't even have to move. In the 76th minute, Pievequinta's Angelo Matteucci dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Amerigo Fino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Palmucci having to interfere. Pievequinta's Claudio Palmucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Ceccarelli in the 95th minute of play.
