He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Paulinha reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Cesareo in the 21st minute of play forced Cosenza1914's goalkeeper Demetrio Masi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Volponi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Demetrio Masi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Eugenio Cesareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosenza1914's Anfilogino Fontanive got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Cosenza1914's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Molinari came free, but Demetrio Masi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Cosenza1914's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Volponi came free, but Demetrio Masi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Diego Lelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Diego Lelli made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fc Paulinha's Ferdinando Peca got a free kick in the 54th minute. Cosenza1914's Demetrio Masi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cosenza1914 from getting a goal against them. Demetrio Masi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alessio Pala sent off a good shot on target. Demetrio Masi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Cesareo in the 61st minute. Ciro Pezzella charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Pezzella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Cosenza1914 got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Pezzella. Arrigo Piscitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Demetrio Masi made a huge save. Cosenza1914's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Diego Lelli scored to the left of an out of position Demetrio Masi, making the score, 0-4. Eugenio Cesareo took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demetrio Masi. Demetrio Masi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.
