Felice Canuto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dennis Rossetti. Quintosole AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Dennis Rossetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Zuccarini in the 53rd minute. Alex Natalucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Ricci having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cene AFC defense, Ermanno Uguccioni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosimo Ricci. The Cene AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosimo Ricci should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Dave Colombi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dennis Rossetti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cosimo Ricci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Natalucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermanno Uguccioni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cosimo Ricci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Cene AFC's Ettore Zuccarini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quintosole AFC had won after a very even match.
