Alfredo Berardinelli came out of the goal and Dennis Guerriero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Berardinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Leoni in the 9th minute of play. The Dark Passenger's Alexander Malinconico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Bobbio in the 14th minute of play. Ernesto Bobbio struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alexander Malinconico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murelle Vechia. In the 17thth minute of the game Domenico Castrucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Dark Passenger's Alexander Malinconico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dennis Guerriero might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Berardinelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Guerriero ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 minutes, Alfonso Di Pietro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Dark Passenger and the Murelle Vechia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Murelle Vechia a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amedeo Crema, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Dark Passenger's Alexander Malinconico. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Castrucci in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Malinconico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Murelle Vechia's Alfredo Berardinelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Murelle Vechia from getting a goal against them. Ercole Leoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alfredo Berardinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 50 minutes, Ermanno Mariano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Dark Passenger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Mariano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Ercole Leoni made the kick off in the second half. Dennis Guerriero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alfredo Berardinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Alessandro Porreca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Berardinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Bobbio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alexander Malinconico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Malinconico stood somewhat misplaced when Ernesto Bobbio came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 64 minute. In the 67th match minute, The Dark Passenger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Di Pietro to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Bobbio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Malinconico having to interfere. Murelle Vechia's Aurelio Belfiore got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, The Dark Passenger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Porreca to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Malinconico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Castrucci in the 77th minute of the match. If Dennis Guerriero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Murelle Vechia defense, Ercole Leoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Berardinelli. The Murelle Vechia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Berardinelli should have stopped the shot. Edmondo Pozzo's late challenge caught a Murelle Vechia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmondo Pozzo helped the player get up and apologised. Edmondo Pozzo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ernesto Bobbio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ernesto Bobbio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murelle Vechia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Bobbio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Malinconico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the match, The Dark Passenger's Ercole Leoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Berardinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Murelle Vechia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
