Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Monzeglio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave De Vecchis in the 18th minute of play. Anselmo Palleschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carter Tripodi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Borrelli having to interfere. Carter Tripodi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dario Borrelli made a huge save. Carter Tripodi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dave De Vecchis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave De Vecchis in the 36th minute of play forced Lencisa's goalkeeper Cesare Monzeglio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When St Ignazio's Dave De Vecchis in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cesare Monzeglio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Alfredo Di Fabrizio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Di Fabrizio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Andrea Tana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Borrelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Tana in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Tana in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Borrelli saved St Ignazio from getting behind. Dave De Vecchis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Tana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave De Vecchis took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesare Monzeglio. Cesare Monzeglio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 80 minutes, Anselmo Palleschi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St Ignazio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Palleschi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dave De Vecchis managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Ignazio's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave De Vecchis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Monzeglio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave De Vecchis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cesare Monzeglio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Cesare Monzeglio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anselmo Palleschi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Monzeglio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Andrea Tana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. St Ignazio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
