Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eugenio De Rubeis kicked off to start the match. Bruno Cirelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio De Rubeis in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Eugenio De Rubeis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mocchirolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio De Rubeis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio De Rubeis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Cirelli having to interfere. Bruno Cirelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Mauro's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Dario Mauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SSC Napoli's Bruno Cirelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio De Rubeis in the 18th minute of play. Achille Spano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Bertolini having to interfere. Emilio Bertolini made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Achille Spano sent off a good shot on target. Mocchirolo's Emilio Bertolini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Mocchirolo from getting a goal against them. If Achille Spano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Mauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Cirelli having to interfere. Dario Mauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bruno Cirelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio De Rubeis in the 39th minute of play forced SSC Napoli's goalkeeper Bruno Cirelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, SSC Napoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Spano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio De Rubeis in the 45th minute of play forced SSC Napoli's goalkeeper Bruno Cirelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Dario Mauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mocchirolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Mauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Cirelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SSC Napoli's Bernardo Disastro got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Eugenio De Rubeis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Davide Sciamanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Bertolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Cirelli came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Mocchirolo's Dario Mauro. But to his dismay, Dario Mauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio De Rubeis in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Cirelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dario Mauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio De Rubeis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, SSC Napoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio De Gregorio to maneuver through the defense. Mocchirolo's Emilio Bertolini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Spano in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Napoli's zone, Dario Mauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Cirelli came out of the goal and Dario Mauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mocchirolo's Eugenio De Rubeis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Cirelli. That made the score 0-3 after 89 minutes of play. Emilio Bertolini came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by SSC Napoli's Achille Spano. But to his dismay, Achille Spano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
