Spectators: 7358 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Apicella started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute of the match, Fabio Serantoni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Amicone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Renzi in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Basile saved Sally AFC from getting behind. Antonio Renzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Flavio Basile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ghetto's Antonio Renzi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sally AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Quercia hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Franco Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Serantoni in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ghetto's goalkeeper Franco Amicone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabiano Guidoni kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Aldo Di Nunzio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Flavio Basile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Renzi in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute Antonio Renzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Basile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Antonio Renzi made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sally AFC's Flavio Basile tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Serantoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Basile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Renzi in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sally AFC's zone, Antonio Renzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Basile came out of the goal and Antonio Renzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Apicella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Basile having to interfere. Franco Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Serantoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Serantoni made a kick off. Alex Apicella struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Flavio Basile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghetto. In the 57th minute, Antonio Renzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Renzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Amicone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Serantoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Alex Apicella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Flavio Basile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonio Renzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Sally AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Fabio Tardelli hit a great ball. Alex Apicella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Basile having to make a save. If Alex Apicella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Basile made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Antonio Renzi sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Antonio Renzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghetto's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Renzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Basile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonello Rosati kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Antonio Renzis short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Flavio Basile to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 93 played minutes Ghetto got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Renzi.
