Alberigo Capasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Mattioli in the 2nd minute of play. Alberigo Capasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amerigo Caligaris's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Amerigo Caligaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Aurelia FC's Amerigo Caligaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberigo Capasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Fedele De Amicis came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Casnate AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele De Amicis couldn't finish the play. Cosimo De Amicis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Miloš Klikar made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Beppe Di Crescenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Aurelia FC booed when Casnate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Brunelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bianco Mattioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Capasso having to interfere. Bianco Mattioli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alberigo Capasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Aurelia FC's Miloš Klikar got control of the ball when Cosimo De Amicis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Amerigo Caligaris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aurelia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Caligaris in the 41st minute of play forced Casnate AFC's goalkeeper Alberigo Capasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bianco Mattioli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amerigo Caligaris made a kick off. Casnate AFC's Alberigo Capasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Casnate AFC from getting a goal against them. Amerigo Caligaris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute of the match, Amerigo Caligaris tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberigo Capasso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bianco Mattioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Capasso having to interfere. Ruperto Ubelteso's shot from long distance in the 72nd minute was not bad at all, but Casnate AFC's Alberigo Capasso knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Casnate AFC! 80 minutes into the match, Casnate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Caligaris came free, but Alberigo Capasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Caligaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Capasso having to interfere. Amerigo Caligaris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberigo Capasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Caligaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Amerigo Caligaris came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Aurelia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amerigo Caligaris couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Aurelia FC's Amerigo Caligaris in the 100th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alberigo Capasso was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Casnate AFC through an amazing save.
