Vigor Trani Calcio's Augusto Puja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Moretti in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Mateescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Puja was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Vigor Trani Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Trinca came free, but Augusto Puja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bogdan Mateescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roma Galaxy's Ernesto Toschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Cavallucci in the 30th minute of play. Augusto Puja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogdan Mateescu went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bogdan Mateescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Puja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Mateescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldo Trinca struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Augusto Puja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roma Galaxy. After a defensive mix-up in Vigor Trani Calcio's zone, Aldo Trinca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Puja came out of the goal and Aldo Trinca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmondo Conte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Augusto Puja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Pocobello kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Aldo Trinca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Toschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Cavanna in the 56th minute of play. Cosimo Della Rocca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Toschi having to interfere. Bogdan Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cosimo Della Rocca kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Augusto Puja made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Aldo Trinca sent off a good shot on target. Bogdan Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Mateescu in the 68th minute of play forced Vigor Trani Calcio's goalkeeper Augusto Puja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Diego Abete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Toschi. Roma Galaxy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Abete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Cavallucci in the 72nd minute of play forced Roma Galaxy's goalkeeper Ernesto Toschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aldo Trinca came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Roma Galaxy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Trinca couldn't finish the play. Bogdan Mateescu struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Augusto Puja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roma Galaxy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Abete in the 77th minute of play forced Roma Galaxy's goalkeeper Ernesto Toschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 83 minutes on the clock, Charles Quintal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roma Galaxy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Roma Galaxy:s Ernesto Toschi showed great skill when he stopped Fausto Balzani:s penalty. Ernesto Toschi came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Vigor Trani Calcio's Fausto Balzani. But to his dismay, Fausto Balzani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Bogdan Mateescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aldo Trinca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Puja having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Bogdan Mateescu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ernesto Toschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Abete in the 97th minute of play. Vigor Trani Calcio's Cosimo Della Rocca got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vigor Trani Calcio could leave the field as winners, despite Roma Galaxy having more of the ball for most of the match.
