The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessio Lopez during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristoforo Genovesi came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Fosso Ghiaia AFC's Alessio Lopez. But to his dismay, Alessio Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After the first half Fosso Ghiaia AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 54 played minutes Linate FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Graziano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino Rotondi during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Linate FC booed when Fosso Ghiaia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Rotondi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ciro Raiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Circelli in the 96th minute of play forced Linate FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Genovesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fosso Ghiaia AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
