The supporters of Tolfa AFC booed when Capuccini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Porta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolfa AFC's Daniele Di Rado suffered a sore thigh after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Claudio Cirone charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Cirone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Capuccini fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The Capuccini players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tolfa AFC were winning 0-3.

Dave Moriggi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Elia Corsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tolfa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Corsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elia Corsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Davide Ruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Claudio Fabri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Maccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Del Gatto in the 66th minute of play forced Tolfa AFC's goalkeeper Ferruccio Maccioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes, Ermanno Gelsomini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capuccini and the Tolfa AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Capuccini getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ermanno Gelsomini hit a great ball. Emilio Antico's late challenge caught a Capuccini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Antico helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tolfa AFC's Emilio Antico got a free kick in the 81st minute. Elia Corsi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Davide Ruzzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tolfa AFC. Tolfa AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
