Daniele Santilli kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Titanium booed when Varani fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Melis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosimo Cabrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achille Ruggeri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Matteucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fedele Martinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ennio Di Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achille Ruggeri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Matteucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Titanium getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alberto Losito hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Ennio Corsi made the kick off in the second half. Varani fc's Fedele Martinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Amerigo Bottaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes, Fedele Martinelli made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Titanium's Ennio Di Vito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Daniele Santilli fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Titanium's protests and gave Daniele Santilli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Titanium's Daniele Santilli got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Titanium's goalkeeper Ennio Di Vito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosimo Cabrini struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ennio Di Vito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varani fc. When Cosimo Cabrini came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Varani fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosimo Cabrini couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Titanium's zone, Achille Padula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Di Vito came out of the goal and Achille Padula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ennio Di Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Cabrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Cosimo Cabrini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennio Di Vito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cosimo Cabrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Di Vito having to interfere. After some careless play in the Titanium defense, Fedele Martinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ennio Di Vito. The Titanium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ennio Di Vito should have stopped the shot.
