Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Baresi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Classe's Frank Di Girolamo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Bottone in the 3rd minute of play. Frank Di Girolamo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Saturno in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Bottone in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Di Girolamo saved Classe from getting behind. Bruno Saturno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Di Girolamo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Frank Di Girolamo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Bottone in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Cerese AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Baresi came free, but Cristiano Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Baresi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cerese AFC's Eugenio Bottone got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Di Girolamo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Bottone in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Classe's goalkeeper Frank Di Girolamo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Saturno. 35 minutes into the game, Eugenio Bottone recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frank Di Girolamo. Eugenio Bottone showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Cerese AFC's Bruno Saturno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Di Girolamo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes in the game, Bruno Saturno dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Classe's goalkeeper Frank Di Girolamo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eugenio Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Bottone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Frank Di Girolamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cerese AFC's Cristiano Lopez got control of the ball when Frank Simeoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Bottone in the 65th minute of play forced Classe's goalkeeper Frank Di Girolamo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Saturno in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Di Girolamo saved Classe from getting behind. Cristiano Lopez made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Frank Simeoni sent off a good shot on target. If Bruno Saturno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Simeoni in the 81st minute. Bruno Saturno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Frank Di Girolamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes, Cerese AFC's Amos Tarulli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frank Di Girolamo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cerese AFC reached it. 93 minutes into the match, Cerese AFC's goalkeeper Cristiano Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Simeoni. Cristiano Lopez was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Frank Simeoni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Simeoni really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
