After having played for 2 minutes, Bruno Saturno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerese AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Saturno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Bottone in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Di Girolamo saved Classe from getting behind. After 6 played minutes, Cerese AFC's Amos Tarulli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frank Di Girolamo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cerese AFC reached it. Classe's Frank Di Girolamo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Saturno in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Bottone in the 9th minute of play forced Classe's goalkeeper Frank Di Girolamo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Di Girolamo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Saturno in the 11th minute of play. Frank Di Girolamo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Saturno in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Classe's Ettore Rucci got a free kick in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ettore Rucci during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Ettore Rucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Cerese AFC's Amos Tarulli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Classe's Frank Di Girolamo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Saturno in the 27th minute of play. If Eugenio Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frank Simeoni sped through Cerese AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristiano Lopez. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Bottone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Bottone received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frank Di Girolamo came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugenio Bottone slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Bottone during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Eugenio Bottone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Bottone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Frank Di Girolamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Cerese AFC's Bruno Saturno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Di Girolamo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Di Girolamo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Bottone in the 71st minute of the match. Frank Di Girolamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Saturno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Di Girolamo having to interfere. Corrado Nicolini struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cristiano Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classe. Bruno Saturno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Di Girolamo having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Cerese AFC's Bruno Saturno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Di Girolamo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes in the game, Bruno Saturno fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frank Di Girolamo having to interfere. Eugenio Bottone took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Di Girolamo. Frank Di Girolamo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The audience was convinced that Frank Simeoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Lopez was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. The Classe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cerese AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cerese AFC.
