Carter Giordano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello De Matteis in the 44th minute of play. Atletico Monteforte were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Nibbiola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dino Baciadonne took the corner. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonello De Matteis to strike the kick off in the second half. Carter Giordano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Camerlengo in the 54th minute of the match. Carter Giordano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonello De Matteis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. Atletico Monteforte were furious when Dino Baciadonne was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Carter Giordano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Boninsegna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Camerlengo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carter Franceschelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Ceccarelli in the 94th minute of play. Antonello De Matteis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Giordano having to interfere. Atletico Monteforte's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
