Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Furia charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Furia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, San Biggio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Furia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Baura's zone, Fabiano Rotolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Ballerini came out of the goal and Fabiano Rotolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comunardo Balestra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. When Fedele Clementi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Baura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Clementi couldn't finish the play. Arrigo Gava showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Baruffa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Baura players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Biggio FC were winning 0-1.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Biggio FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
