Dave Di Renzo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edmondo Marini. Franco Gizzi's late challenge caught a Apash FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Gizzi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Franco Gizzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Comunardo Dionisi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fc Porcos booed when Apash FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Antonioni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Crema took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elia Panino. Apash FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Alvaro Nobile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apash FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Porcos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Apash FC's Alvaro Nobile got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Fc Porcos's Armando Causio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Crosta, made in the 33rd minute of the game. If Comunardo Dionisi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Fc Porcos got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Crema. Comunardo Dionisi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dave Di Renzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Fc Porcos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Paoletti to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Comunardo Dionisi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apash FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Comunardo Dionisi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Paoletti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alessandro Ricci kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Fabrizio Rosetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dave Di Renzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Comunardo Dionisi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Apash FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo Dionisi couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Nobile was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 81 played minutes Apash FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Nobile. Fabrizio Rosetta charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Rosetta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Apash FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Rosetta. In the 86th minute of the match, Arturo Paoletti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elia Panino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Elia Panino was a little too slow when Arturo Paoletti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Fc Porcos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
