Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrea Bravo kicked off to start the match. Andrea Bravo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Franco Marchetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Cardillo in the 6th minute. Arturo Cocca's late challenge caught a Patriots Bulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Cocca helped the player get up and apologised. Arturo Cocca kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudio Porta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franco Marchetti. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Claudio Porta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franco Marchetti. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, Patriots Bulls's Camillo Quercia got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Franco Marchetti made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Claudio Porta sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Patriots Bulls defense, Achille Cardillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Marchetti. The Patriots Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Marchetti should have stopped the shot. Achille Cardillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Franco Marchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Porta got free with Franco Marchetti in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greger Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Franco Marchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Achille Cardillo made a precise shot to the right of Franco Marchetti. Patriots Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Greger Kristiansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Marchetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greger Kristiansson ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Porta was the one to do the kick off. Claudio Porta struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Franco Marchetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiorenza Calcio. Franco Marchetti came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Fiorenza Calcio's Claudio Porta. But to his dismay, Claudio Porta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 64 played minutes Fiorenza Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Banana. After 66 played minutes Patriots Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Frank Bruno. 73 minutes into the match, Patriots Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Garibaldi came free, but Franco Marchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Achille Cardillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiorenza Calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Achille Cardillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Marchetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Proia scored 7-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Marchetti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Arturo Cocca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Achille Cardillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Porta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Achille Cardillo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fiorenza Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Cardillo couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fiorenza Calcio had played much better football throughout.
