Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enrico Colella kicked off to start the match. Achille Capaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix booed when Verona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Mancinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Verona's Emanuele Tullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Capaldo in the 10th minute of play. Emanuele Tullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Colella in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Verona booed when Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Testa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Carmine Ruscitti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Tullo skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute, Carmine Mancinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Enrico Colella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Colella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrico Giardini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Diego Cammarota when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Achille Capaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Tullo having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Verona's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Testa came free, but Emanuele Tullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Tullo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix 's Achille Capaldo. But to his dismay, Achille Capaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 46th minute Enrico Colella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Tullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Verona got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Mancinelli. Enrico Colella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 51st minute, Enrico Colella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 56th minute Dennis Del Vecchio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Cammarota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes, Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix 's Carmine Ruscitti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuele Tullo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix reached it. Achille Capaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Emanuele Tullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Verona getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Amerigo Reggianini hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Achille Capaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix 's supporters rose to their feet, but Achille Capaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Tullo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enrico Colella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Verona's zone, Enrico Colella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Tullo came out of the goal and Enrico Colella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Cammarota came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Verona's Enrico Giardini. But to his dismay, Enrico Giardini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Diego Testa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Emanuele Tullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Colella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuele Tullo having to make a save. Enrico Colella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Achille Capaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuele Tullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Achille Capaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Tullo having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Achille Capaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Enrico Colella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Capaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florian Pari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Emanuele Tullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix played a much better game than Verona and deserved their victory. The Verona players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
